Easy Thanksgiving Green Bean Casserole Recipe

One of my favorite Thanksgiving side dishes is easy to make and assemble. I love the tender green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and crunchy bite of fried onion. I made these all with store-bought ingredients, making them easy to prepare. I highly recommend using fresh green beans. They make a huge difference compared to using canned green beans.

Ingredients:

1 lb of fresh green bean.

1 can of Campbell mushroom soup

1/2 cup of milk

1 tsp of soy sauce

1 tsp of black pepper

1 cup of french fried onion

Procedures:

Preheat the oven to 350 F

Bring 1 quart of water to a full boil in a big pot with 2 tbsp of kosher salt.

When the water is at a full boil, add the green bean. Blanch the green bean for 6-7 mins, depending on how you like your green bean cooked. Check regularly.

When the green bean is done, remove them from the pot, drain, and cool.

Mix the cream of mushroom, soy sauce, milk, black pepper, and half of the fried onion in a baking dish. Add the green bean and mix to combine.

Bake in the 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes until the mixture is bubbly and heated.

Remove from the oven and add the rest of the fried onion on top.

Serve and enjoy.
